Please, please, please do Regent's Park and Primrose Hill now! Cycling in pedestrian only areas is a major hazard. It seems to be going on completely unchecked.

One year ago, @YorksBylines launched the Davis Downside Dossier. The name comes from MPDavid Davis’ now infamous boast from Oct 2016 that there would be no downsides to Brexit, only considerable upsides. Well, the downsides in this dossier are a flood. yorkshirebylines.co.uk/news/…

Yes @Keir_Starmer 👏👏👏 "The betrayal is if our party doesn't win an election. I didn't come into politics to talk about betrayal and to have internal fights in the Labour Party. I came into politics to change lives and you only change lives by going into power."

If you think it’s brave or big or anti-authoritarian to break the law and not wear a mask on public transport or in shops, pause to think about the millions of people who have to work on the front line of this virus. Show a little humility and some basic human decency.

What we should all do in the global pandemic: 1️⃣ Wear a mask where asked to & in enclosed spaces. 2️⃣ Get vaccinated if you can. 3️⃣ Ask why BILLIONS cannot get vaccinated. 4️⃣ Demand that your government support the #TRIPSwaiver to expand vaccine production globally.

If being asked to wear a mask in some places during a global pandemic is really the greatest "oppression" you've ever faced in your life, you seriously do not know how charmed a life you've had.

I’m not going to RT the MP or give a link but would like to point out that the Human Rights Act protects *all* humans. Yes, all, including you. We don’t pick and choose who has rights and who doesn’t. Privilege is not inalienable, rights are.

I welcome today’s announcement that face coverings will be made compulsory on public transport nationwide, as they already are across the TfL network. This is a measure I have repeatedly urged the Government to take as we know they help stop the virus spreading.

Could omicron have originated in usa or europe and traveled to Africa? Do we even know the origin? Patient zero? No- we don’t.

Boris Johnson returned from his most recent holiday 44 days ago. He returned from his previous holiday 35 days before that.

As Christmas approaches, Johnson's allies and critics are unanimous that he and the party are desperately in need of a break to recharge batteries An ally said, however: 'The problem is I’m not sure he’ll get one with the new baby coming in December'

🎄Prof Chris Whitty’s own Christmas plea is for us all to raise our glasses to the vaccine scientists “who will allow this Christmas to be in a very different place than it would have been w/o them”.

Except for him, I presume. As we've seen countless times, mask regulations don't apply to incumbent PMs.
😷😷 Boris Johnson confirms that face masks will be COMPULSORY in shops and on public transport in England. Will be interesting to see if people do now wear them 😷😷

Cannot agree more strongly. For years, as soon as someone asks, "Can you recommend a book...", I reply with this without waiting to find out what it is they want. I just can't imagine anyone not loving it. I do every time I read it!

1) An Instance of the Fingerpost by Iain Pears will always be number one on my list. Set in restoration England it is a murder mystery with an exquisite plot and a fiendish structure, but it is also so much more than this. If you haven't read it, RUN to the shops and buy it NOW.

British people are not all bigots. Because all British people do not think as one any more than they all vote Tory, all know the words to Bat out of hell or all know how to bake turnips. Astonishing that someone as articulate and clever as Matthew Parris can't grasp that.
